Here at Bridges Healthcare we are devoted to keeping all our staff and patients safe. Part of this includes keeping the personal data we hold safe and secure.

We have updated our privacy policy and terms and conditions to support the latest changes to the European protection law and wanted to give you an overview of what this entails.

What is GDPR?

From 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulations replaced the Data Protection Act 1998.

Bridges Healthcare ensures:
  • Your data is processed in line with GDPR and all other UK laws.
  • We will not disclose your data to third parties unless we have your explicit consent, or are required to do so for legal reasons.
  • Security measures are in place to keep your data safe and secure (all personal data is kept in locked cabinets in a secure office or on our secure servers, and can only be accessed on request).
  • Data is only used for its original purpose.
  • Reasonable steps are in place to ensure all data is accurate.

What we ask of our service users

  • Confirmation that you would still like to receive letters, emails and text messages from Bridges Healthcare
  • We also want to ensure all the personal data we hold is correct and up to date. To do this, we will ask you to complete and sign documents and update your details where necessary.


Bridges Healthcare s is committed to processing your data in-line with the general data protection regulations 2018 (GDPR). The data you provide us is necessary to fulfill the needs of the contract and will only be processed for this purpose. We will not disclose any of this information to third parties without your consent. Both electronic and paper records will be destroyed when no longer needed for its original purpose, unless otherwise required by law.
