Aim of Course

To understand the needs of the vulnerable adults and to recognise signs and symptoms of abuse.

Outcomes

To be confident and competent in taking the appropriate action by being able to:
- Define vulnerability and factors that contribute to it
- Identify indicators of abuse
- Clarify roles and responsibilities of all professionals when abuse or neglect is suspected or discovered
- To understand and explore multi-agency approaches to recognising, investigating and preventing abuse
