This is a half day course of theory and practical sessions.  You will be taught to use equipment for these procedures and how to record the information.  You will also gain understanding of normal and abnormal readings and the reasons why these observations are fundamental to the well being of the patient in your care.

Aim of course

To understand how and why clinical observations are monitored.  To understand the importance of recording and feedback and to be competent and able to monitor clinical observations, record and report your findings.
 
Outcomes

- To be competent and capable in the practice of undertaking observations
- To record accurately all observations
- To identify adverse readings and report appropriately
