Aim of Course

- To understand, recognise and manage a First Aid Emergency in the work place
- To gain a basic knowledge of First Aid
- A certificate is awarded and valid for three years

N.B. This course is not yet recognised as a registered first aider by the HSE.  For this you would need to attend a 4 day First Aid at Work course.

Who should attend?

The HSE has different recommendations to the First Aid provision your company needs. This is dependant on the nature and number of employees. Please contact us or go to the HSE website to find your requirements.

You will need to be physically able to undertake the practical elements of the course

Outcomes

- To be competent in practice and theory to response to first aid situations
- To recognise signs and symptoms of various medical conditions
- To be able to deal effectively with an incident or accident until medical assistance arrives
