Nurse Advanced / Nurse Team Manager (Generic)

Nurse Advanced / Nurse Team Manager (Generic) required to work with patients in a hospital setting.
Ref: NS20/G7
You will:
- Lead specialist in defined area of nursing care
- Provide skilled, professional assessment of health needs, relevant nursing care and health information Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and co-ordinate nursing team workloads
- Manage staff including appraisal, rotas and recruitment & selection
- Assess patients, plan and implement care in hospital, community or other settings.
- Provide specialist education and training to other staff and students
- Undertake research, lead clinical audits within own specialist area
- Provide advice and maintain associated records
- Carry out nursing procedures
It is essential you are registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment with an RN (Adult) / RN1/ RN2 qualification OR an RN (Child)/RN8 qualification. You must have professional knowledge acquired through degree supplemented by specialist clinical managerial training as appropriate for the assignment. You must have evidence of Continuing Professional Development plus an ENB 998 or equivalent Teaching & Assessing qualification.
You should have a minimum of four years post registration experience and at least 2 years experience within the field of assignment, as well as current (within the last 6 months) evidence based practice and staff management and supervision experience.
