Nurse Specialist / Team Leader (Occupational Health)

Nurse Specialist / Team Leader (Occupational Health) required to work with patients in a hospital setting.
Ref: NS17/G6
You will:
- Assess patients, plan and implement care in an Occupational Health Dept.
- Provide specialist advice and maintain associated records
- Carry out specialist nursing procedures
- Provide clinical supervision to other staff / students
- Provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff
- May ensure effective running of dept in absence of Nurse Team Manger
- May undertake research, lead clinical audits within own specialist area
It is essential you are registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment. You must have an RN (Adult) / RN1 / RN2 qualification AND an Occupational Health Nursing Diploma or equivalent post qualification in occupational health nursing achieved through an Institute of Higher Education (Level 3).
It is desirable you have an Advanced Life Support qualification and a Teaching & Assessing qualification.
You should have 2 years plus, post registration experience in Occupational Health Nursing, as well as current (within the last 6 months) evidence based practice within Occupational Health Nursing as appropriate to the assignment.
