You will: 

- Implement planned care for patients in acute settings; observe patients'conditions, record clinical observations and report to a qualified nurse

- Contribute to assessment of care needs and care plan

- May carry out some designated nursing procedures (when trained and competent to do so)

- May supervise clinical support workers in same area: may assist in assessment and attainment of learning and development needs of clinical support workers.

It is essential you have knowledge of nursing procedures and practices acquired through NVQ 3 plus additional training to diploma level or equivalent through short courses.

It is desirable that you have an NVQ Assessor qualification.

You must have at least 3 years experience in the area of the assignment, as well as experience as a Nurse Associate Practitioner in an area appropriate to the assignment.
