This Role:
Assesses, plans and implements care for children at home.
Provides planned nursing care for children at home.
Provides advice and maintains associated records.
Carries out nursing procedures.
May provide clinical supervision to other staff, students.
Works within an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care with an emphasis on promoting independence and rehabilitation as well as curative and palliative care.

You need to be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment: RN (Child) / RN8 OR RN1 or RN2 Registered Nurse, with a post registration course in paediatrics.
You need to proveide current (within last 6 months) evidence based practice within a primary care field appropriate to the assignment and 18 months post registration experience in paediatric nursing,a teaching & assessing qualification is desirable but not required.
