You will be assessing patients, plans and implementing individual care programmes and therapeutic interventions, providing specialised advice in the community and maintaining associated records, liaising with other agencies in planning and assessing programmes of care and Providing individual support for people with a mental health problem to enable to make their own choices. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care with an emphasis on promoting independence and rehabilitation carry out nursing proceduresand provide clinical supervision to other staff, students.

You are required to be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment:
RN (Mental Health ) RN3, RN4
The relevant diploma level specialist training or equivalent as required for the assignment is needed along with evidence of continuing professional education and evidence of professional updating. A minimum of two years post registration experience is required, at least 1 year (within last 6 months) in the field of the assignment as well as crisis management and intervention. A teaching & assessing qualification is desired but not required.
