You will assesse, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients undergoing theatre procedures, prepare and assemble theatre instruments / equipment and may provide clinical supervision to other staff, students. You will assist with the management and organisation of work as required.

For this role you will need City and Guilds 752 or NVQ Level 3 in Operating Department Practice or equivalent Diploma in Higher Education in Operating Department Practice and need to be registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). A teaching & assessing qualification is desirable but not required. At least 1 year post qualification experience working in theatres in the field of the assignment is required along with current (within last 6 months) practice appropriate to the assignment.
