Nurse (Accident and Emergency)

A band 5 nurse needed to work with patients in a hospital setting.
Ref: NS9/C5
The role will involve assessing patients, plans and implementing care in A& E dept, providing advice and maintaining associated records and carring out nursing procedures. You may provide clinical supervisions and managerial leadership to other staff, students and will work within the codes of practice and professional guidelines.
You will need to be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment and have assignments in adult areas RN (Adult) / RN1/ RN2 and assignments in child areas RN(Child) / RN8.
You need at least 1 years experience of working in an A&E Dept along with current (within last 6 months) evidence based practice within A&E appropriate to the assignment. If newly qualified (within the last year) evidence that a preceptorship programme has been completed successfully.
Intermediate life support experience is desirable.
