The role will involve assessing patients, plans and implementing care in ITU/ HDU. You will provide advice and maintain associated records along with carring out nursing procedures.
You may provide clinical supervisions and managerial leadership to other staff and students. You will work within codes of practice and professional guidelines.

You are required to be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment (RN (Adult) / RN1/ RN2).
At least 1 years experience in ITU/HDU is needed along with current (within last 6 months) evidence based practice within ITU/HDU appropriate to the assignment.
If you are newly qualified (within the last year) evidence that a preceptorship programme has been completed successfully must be given.
It is desirable but not required for you to have intermediate life support experience.
