You will deliver nursing care, including running clinics.  You will provide health promotion advice, carry out nursing procedures, immunisations and smear tests (where appropriately trained), provide clinical supervision to other staff and students.

Working within an interdisciplinary team you will deliver quality care with an emphasis on promoting independence and rehabilitation as well as curative and palliative care and work within codes of practice.

You will have current (within last 6 months) evidence based practice within a primary care field appropriate to the assignment.  If newly qualified (within the last year) you will need to provide evidence that a preceptorship programme has been completed successfully.
